Our Vision

Swoon Interactive started in 2011 as Proxicommerce, a software and web development consultancy founded by Michael Chaney. Michael cut his teeth at some of the defining shops of the dotcom era — USWeb/CKS, Idea Integration, emerging.com — before spending over a decade building enterprise applications, solving complex integration problems, and learning what actually matters when software meets real users at scale.

Over the years, the studio has delivered platforms and digital solutions for organizations like Morgan Stanley, Schlumberger, ExxonMobil, Energy Transfer, Sony Records, and Ashford.com — work that demanded reliability, security, and the kind of architectural thinking that doesn't show up in a pitch deck but keeps systems running years after launch.

Rebranded as Swoon in 2025, we made a deliberate shift: AI-first. Not because it's trendy, but because we've seen what happens when intelligence is native to a platform instead of bolted on. Everything gets better — the capabilities, the experience, the outcomes. The tools have changed. The standards haven't. We still build things that work, that scale, and that respect the people who have to use them every day.
